Who I am
Innovative and collaborative User Experience (UX) Designer focused on building accessible user-centric designs and foundational cohesion throughout the user’s experience. I am skilled in identifying and solving for gaps within the design system, providing design documentation, guiding design contribution, structuring library file organization, and establishing asset guidelines. Demonstrated accomplishments in leveraging the foundation of a strong design library to create consistent, 508-compliant design systems, and user-friendly products.
Accomplishments
Created, organized, and maintained design library assets using atomic design principles for 3 design systems.
Built and implemented communication processes with the development team through design sync meetings, internal communication software, and designer-to-developer handoff templates using developer language.
Initiated the cross-pollination of PowerSchool’s marketing and UX design team to rebuild user trust through consistent design threads between pre-login and product login.
Identified the need and implemented a product workflow audit process for a 40+ product suite to define multi-use case workflow requirements.
Implemented design system contribution templates and worked with designers and writers to deliver a refined component contribution process with clear design guidelines.
Developed design system office hours for product designers to receive design system compliance guidance prior to broader team design reviews.
